good workIf Ronda was not the caliber of instructor (and person) that she is, I would not have stayed with her for the past 21 months – and I intend on continuing. I attend twice a week and look forward to the sessions.

Having had private and class sessions, I can see her connection with and awareness of each person’s needs. She motivates as well as gives great instruction through her verbal and tactile guidance. Based on the needs and interests of the student, she incorporates both mat and equipment.

I never have been bored or not challenged – I’m still amazed at how many different movements and exercises can be done on a few pieces of equipment and there is still so much to learn. I did not start Pilates due to any health condition but from interest and I continue because of the interest.

I last wrote a review on Fitwise Pilates in 6/08. This update is to indicate that I am still enjoying and benefiting from my sessions with Ronda. My association as a client since October 2006 has provided great upper body strength, strong core and super balance as well as posture.

I am nearly 57 years old and don’t plan to curtail my twice-a-week sessions. Pilates has given me strong and firm upper arms which come in handy when ziplining, riding a mule that was “small” but still a bit large for me (I am 4’9″) and there were a lot of switchbacks and ups and downs on the trail, hauling luggage while traveling, anything that involves upper body use.

Ronda is fun but she is also a no nonsense instructor. She is serious and passionate about working with you and your individual needs. She modifies the workout as she sees appropriate for individuals.

As in my prior review, I do not have any health conditions that is a factor in continuing Pilates. It is because I chose to incorporate Pilates into my life.
